| Does
anyone remember the TV sitcom, "Check It Out"? It aired from 1985 to
1988 and starred Don Adams (best known as Maxwell Smart from "Get
Smart") as the manager of a supermarket. I have to admit that
from the very start, I was completely mesmerized by Don Adams --
I thought he was the coolest (and funniest!) guy on television.
There was something about the way he talked, something about his
mannerisms and his comic timing that absolutely fascinated
me... and would you believe I actually saw "Check It Out" before I saw
"Get Smart"? That's right -- I was already hooked on Don before I
knew that "Get Smart" even existed! Anyway, I thought "Check It Out" deserved a webpage of its own. So if you want to jog your memory about the show or learn something about it if you haven't seen it before, read on! Contributions are welcome, especially to the episode guide.
